Alluminium double glazed window frames whilst great in their day have been proved to be inneficient insulators and actually create a thermal bridge between the cold exterior and warm interior environment; resulting in condensation inside your home. Replacing the Double Glazed sealed units will not improve this and it's now recommended these are replaced with uPVC manufactured window frames that do not create the same thermal bridge and result in no condensation internally.
